XP: Photographer suggestions

We had a consultation witha photographer on Monday. My fiancé called today to have him forward a contract only to be told that somebody else booked our day! Very frustrating.

So now we are starting over. Has anyone used Chris Brock or know of anyone that used him? Any other suggestions?

    I used Katie Rivers and I can't say enough good things about her. She did my sister's wedding, too. She's the sweetest person ever, creative, professional, and organized. Her photos are gorgeous, and I've had so many people already ask who my photographer was because they were so impressed with her conduct at the wedding and the resulting pictures. :) I do know, however, that she's been booked through the end of 2012 for months, so that may factor into whether you want to check her out.

    I responded on the other post, but I'll put it here as well just in case it gets lost in the shuffle. We used Kelly Embry (clicky) and couldnt be happier with her so far. Also, I can't believe that photographer would do that to you! You'd think there'd be some sort of courtesy call or something to give you a chance to book before giving the date to someone else. Thats just rude!

    We are using William Hogan (clicky). He takes awesome pictures, and his packages are reasonable.

    We are using AD Photography. They take amazing photos and their packages seem reasonable! I am excited to have them shoot my wedding in September!

    I was in my cousin's wedding last year and she used Chris Brock. Please DO NOT use him. He did not show up to film her wedding but instead sent someone else because he wanted to film a bigger wedding, He never told her that he would not be the videographer on her wedding day and when she made several attempts to call him and he kept ignoring her calls. It wasnt until the videographer he sent called him did he pick up the phone. He apologized weeks later and offered a free photo shoot which my cousin immediately declined smh.
