Looking for a Wedding Planner

I posted this also on the Cape Cod Board but it's not as active, so I'm hoping you ladies (and maybe men) could help.

I was wondering if anyone could recommend a wedding planner or day of coordinator on the cape or south shore?? I'd greatly appreciate it!!

I worked with Alexis at Unique Weddings by Alexis. She does weddings all over MA and New England (I think she's even done some DWs), so the Cape wouldn't be an issue for her at all.

She was the first vendor I booked and she was 100% worth the money we paid her. She earned it times a million.

We hired Events by SD (www.eventsbysd.com) about a year ago for full planning, but due to budget issues (i.e. FI lost his job) we had to scale back to using them for Final Planning (Month of) only. So far they have been excellent to work with and they have extremely been accommodating throughout all of planning our ups and downs. The other thing is that they have wedding designers that will help you sort out decor and things like that. Anyway, GL with your search. I would've given anything to be married down in the cape!

Have you looked into Gracie Lou Events? I've seen a few of there events and they always blow my mind! They're so creative and always add that personal touch. I also know a girl who used them as their DOC and they ended up sewing her bustle back together in the middle of the ceremony; talk about always being prepared!

I third Gracie Lou Events- they are fabulous!!! It seems as though they are starting to be published a lot too- which always cool to see your wedding in magazines and featured on blogs!!
