Note to self.. you are not 21 anymore nor should you consume beverages as such..

FI and I stayed out until 3 am at our friends birthday bonfire.. We NEVER do this, it was a great time, but I have since learned that my tolernce is waaaay down. Which I guess is good.. but this morning is rough. And I only had 3 normal drinks from 10p-2am!

I'm wondering how the bachelorette party is going to go.. yikes.

We are doing a weekend at one of my BM's family cabins on a lake in Traverse City Michigan. Wine tasting, playing on the lake and then dancing at a club in a casino : my MOH knows me so well and was so excited to plan it : I couldn't have picked a better idea!

I went really crazy for my bachelorette party (bar crawl to the max) and I kind of regretted it the next day. I had a BLAST during the party but afterward, all I could say was "wow, I'm too old for this..." I recommend pacing yourself a bit more than I did!

[QUOTE]In Response to Note to self.. you are not 21 anymore nor should you consume beverages as such.. : Learn to limit yourself and drink water WHILE you're drinking the alcohol. It will help you limit yourself and will keep you hydrated so the hangover won't be so bad. Aren't these the things you should be learning when you first start drinking?

I was going to say drink a glass of water between alcohol beverage and don't drink on an empty stomach.

Yep, well aware of the hydration factor and I did drink water between drinks and had dinner. Just getting old I guess! :

Im so glad I'm not the only one! I'll be 30 this year and this last year of my twenties I feel my body changed all of a sudden! I spent the year learning that hard liquor is NOT fun for me anymore. HA! It seems that my friends don't have this problem though! I have to limit myself to only wine or beer and i'm not too fond of beer. This has SERIOUSLY worked for me. I'm terrified of my bachelorette party lol but thank goodness my fiancé feels the same about his party too! We're thinking of doing a joint party so we have each other to look out for.
