Please be praying for DH. Lately things seem to frustrate him much more easily than usual. Video games, mistakes, chores - and he's been swearing too, which isn't like him. I don't always know how to help him work through his frustration. I know it's mainly due to the stress of working with his dad, but I would really just appreciate prayers for him.

I have two this month:

1. Please pray for my favorite High School Teacher, Mrs. Quevedo. She is a 2x+ cancer survivor but we think she is not going to win her most recent fight. She has a "marker" which I guess means she will always be in danger of relapsing. She is in the hospital now. She is turning yellow and they think her liver is failing. Her kidneys are shutting down and she has pneumonia. They are giving her chemo but it's not looking good. She is the momma of two little boys who have been taken away by her husband (soon to be ex) who left her when she got worse saying he "needed someone to take care of him". We are all very sad. Again, she was my teacher for two years and really had an impact on my life.

2. FI and I are having a tough time. Everything is fine but we seem to have hit a rough patch and are fighting over stupid things. His mom is coming down on Saturday which means I'll get to see him even less which is disappointing.

We have our first appointment with the Midwife on the 17th and I really am praying that everything is going okay! And that we really are only 5 weeks (8 weeks at the appoinment) along...

Yesterday I pulled a muscle in my lower back. I'm in excruciating pain and it is difficult to do anything (including getting to the bathroom and putting clothes on). The only thing I can really do is keep it rested and take ibruprofen or another OTC pain medication. (I had some percocet from when I fractured my ankle in May but it did not do anything for me.)

I have a busy week next week and my mom needs my help (she is recovering from surgery) so I really hope that my back feels better soon. This happened to me in May and it took 5 days for me to feel better. I need to find some way to prevent this from happening in the future.

Ladies I have a prayer request and a praise. They go hand in hand.

The praise is my brother will hopefully be home from his deployment by the end of the year.

The prayer request is for my family as we finish up this deployment. As the end gets closer, we will lose all contact with him. They have already shut down mail ( can't mail letters or care packages any more) and internet will be shut down in a couple weeks. We won't be able to check up on face book and Skype Modern technology has definitely made this deployment easier and not being able to talk with him is going to be hard. Pray for a safe and quick return back home.

I have a prayer request.

My H and i have been married for 75 days now... he just got seasonally laid off of his job (which i am happy about! lol. He has been working out of town every week since we have been married... even before that. AND we did long distance for 9 months before that while he was in school).

We have been struggling a lot. I feel sooo disconnected to him. I feel like we barely talk anymore. He's not doing it on purpose but i feel like he is just soo distant from me. I feel soooo just... alone kinda... and so it makes me feel sad and then i take it out on him. I try to talk to him about it...and he just gets frustrated for having the "same conversation" and doesnt wanna talk or listen. Which then makes me feel even more shut out of his life.

I love him sooo much but we are struggling. Our relationship with God is struggling too. we havent been to church since we got married because of his work schedule. We dont pray together or read our Bibles. I try to encourage him.. and send him Bible verses but i feel like i am running on empty.
