Las Vegas Wedding

HELP!!  I'm 50ish and getting married for the 3rd time, my fiance is getting married for the 2nd time.  We're having a very small wedding in Las Vegas...  I have no idea what to wear.  I want to wear a knee-length dress, but NOT in white or cream...  I like strong, jewel colors; would a strong color be appropriate?  What do y'all think?

    I think it that is what you want to wear then you should wear it!!! Its your day girl my mom wore a blue dress with polka dots when she got married and she looked awesome. Note this is not me commenting on your age at all I don't want you to think that and it was her 3rd marriage as well I remember it well. Me it was my 3rd marriage and you know what I did the big poofy dress. Its whatever you heart desires. 

    I actually live in vegas where are you having your wedding I want details pretty please!!! 

    Do you have dresses your thinking of? Post them so we can see!!

    Congrats! Absolutely wear what you want to wear! It's your wedding day and you don't have to wear the traditional white or ivory gown. I love the jewel tone colors and it will be fine! Post some of the dresses at your convenience, I'd love to see em.

    I definitely agree with everyone.  Wear whatever you want and what better place to do it than in Vegas!! I am a Vegas bride also and I am doing the glitz and glam look for my dress!! It was just what I am feeling right now!!

    I am getting married at the Flamingo July 3 2010. I can't believe how fast it is coming.  I am wearing a long white prom dress with sequins & a slit from my toes up to above my knee.  it is so sexy & classy.  My final fitting is next weekend.

    Go for it! Find a dress you feel amazing in- then maybe find a tie for FI that coordinates! It's your day, do what YOU want!
