Honeymoon booked!!

Ok, we're a little late on this.. haha. We just booked our honeymoon to Puerto Rico! I'm nervous about it but also very very excited!

I know we had a siggy challenge about this before, but where is everyone going on their honeymoons?

I just realized we're getting married the same day, maybe we'll be in PR at the same time! haha

We are going to an all inclusive in Cancun. His aunt gave us the timeshare credit. We finally booked our tickets the other day and I just got my passport in the mail

It's getting so close!
PR was another place we looked. Everything looks so beautiful! I know everyone will have a wonderful time wherever they go!

PR is awesome. I was there a few years ago (mind you, a terrorist attack happened while I was there...so it wasn't as awesome as it could of been. But even while part of the island was on fire, it was still a great experience.) You'll have a great time. Eat as many dishes with plantains as possible. And try every hot sauce!

We're hitting the mountains for a few days. FI's uncles own a cabin built on the side of the mountain. Lots of privacy and great views.

Mishe - I LOVE plantains! I went to Costa Rica in high school and they had plantains, banana pancakes, the best pineapple I've ever had, and so much amazing food. I was hoping PR would have some similar stuff!

Caitlyn - No ziplining for me (heights = no good) but maybe we'll randomly be in the same place at the same time.. that would be crazy!

We are going to Ochos Rios for 7 nights. I'm super excited especially since we are almost through paying for it.

I think I'm definitely more excited about the honeymoon. We are spending a week in Paris, we leave about 12 hours after the wedding ends.

San Diego is great, though I grew up there so I'm biased. If you are looking for any suggestions on where to go feel free to PM me. I'm heading down for a weekend with my girls in a few weeks. So happy to go home.

Sounds like a of great honeymoons planned! We are going to Florida, my parents gave us a timeshare week for a wedding gift. We want to see our Detroit Tigers at Spring Training! My brother bught us our plane tickets for our wedding gift. We lucked out, just have to pay for the rental car, food and entertainmnt! And we could have had a free car, as my brother lives there and offered one, but we wanted to splurge on something "cool".

These sound so fun! We just didn't have the money for the honeymoon we wanted. Everything we looked at that was within our budget felt like we were setting just because we could afford it. We ended up booking two days at a spa hotel about an hour and a half away. The restaurant attached to it gets some amazing reviews so we'll just take a little break to unwind then get back to real life. We're going to save up and take an amazing anniversary trip.

<div>I know how you feel! We can't afford anything extravagent either, so last week I booked us two nights at a B&B on the coast close by that a friend recommended. They may be small, but I think there are a lot of advantages to honeymooning close to home! Enjoy your trip!</div>
