Hello all!!!
My boyfriend of 9 years just propsed last night!!!! I am the Happiest person in the world.
When I walked upstairs, I noticed that he had hung a note on the door to my place. It said “Welcome to Your Mystery Valentine’s Day Challenge”. In the note, he told me how I would have to figure out clues and mind-boggling riddles to find my way to his heart and to my destiny. I was so happy and excited!! Immediately, he gave me the first riddle. It was a simple one – “Miss me, miss me, now you have to____” Kiss me! I yelled. After the kiss, he told me that all the other clues are on his iPhone. I found out that he had pre-recorded some voice memos that had him speak the clues to me. To top this off, he had hidden several gifts around the room including one of my favorite movies on DVD and a two-night weekend getaway to a place of my choosing.
As we neared the end of the game, my last clue said “Hey Babe, this last clue is no clue at all, it is just a distraction to get you to turn around. Now, please go to your baby and hear what he has to say”. When I turned around, he grabbed my hands, told me how much he loved me, got on one knee, and asked if I would do him the honor of marrying him. AAAAAHHHH!!!! I could not believe it!! This was truly the best Valentine’s Day ever!! I am truly grateful and have not stopped smiling since.
