Hi all, I wrote a few weeks back that I was very nervous for my dress fitting because I just wasn't sure if it would be so big that it wasn't "alterable" etc. etc but I am here to tell you that it looks beautiful!!! It was too big but after the seamstress pinned it all up it looked absolutely gorgeous and I am thrilled!
I also wrote about what to do in honoring my FH's late wife somehow and after careful consideration we came up with the idea that in our wedding booklet we would print the words to the song, "In My Life", and that covers it very subtley. The words to the song are really beautiful and actually mean a lot to me too, I have been a single mom of four for 18 years, and there have been many people who have been very important to me who are not around anymore, it sort of covers everyone who we both have loved in the past. So anyway, I feel great about that too.
And something I didn't mention, my annulment, that went through two weeks ago so we will be able to be married with the blessing of the church, something that was very important to both of us.
And we met with the manager of the our reception venue and I am thrilled with everything there too!! You know, we booked this over 9 months ago and in that time I almost forgot how truly pretty a place it is, how perfect it is for us.
