That would be me, apparently. Had a friend from high school do our invites. I thought we had agreed on a certain type of paper (metallic ecru to be exact), but when she dropped them off they were definitely NOT. They were instead a very, very white and very, very non-metallic paper. It's just a shade off, right? Shouldn't have been something to make a fuss over, but it just looked so plain, and there's no white anywhere in anything else for the wedding.
She doesn't want to fix them. When I called her after looking at them, her response was "So what do you want me to do about it?" She said it would take her THREE WEEKS!! to order and get in more metallic paper to redo them, and she has a lot of other jobs going on right now. WTF?!? It's not like she's doing this for free, either, we paid her pretty close to what she charges her regular customers. UGH...
So after a call to my DOC (I heart Ashlie) FI and I head down to Sam Flax and oh, looky here, they have the same metallic paper right there in front of our faces. So they're going to reprint the invites for us. It's just going to cost the same amount we paid my friend again, and then some. And FI is working on reformatting the templates we have so we don't have to pay the guy extra for formatting and whatnot. *sigh*
I'm pretty unnerved about all of this... boo!
