Sunday night- Anyone still around?

Is any one still around? I know it's sunday night and everyone seems to be getting ready for the work week, but I'm doing wedding budget/planning stuff. Is anyone on?

Ugh slight vent. I have a tutor for econ. I'm seriously scared I'm not gonna pass the class (I'm failing right now but obviously I can pass if I do well on the final) The first tutor they assigned me does not know the last 3 chapters. So I requested a new one. I just got an email from her because I asked where to meet and she said she also doesn't know the last 3 chapters...WTF why are they hired to be tutors and why is this happening?! I'm freaking out ugh!

I'm here too. H and I are lying down in bed. I'm trying to upload pictures on FB from Thanksgiving but it's taking so long since I have to do it one at a time. I hate it when they do these changes!

Econ was my least favorite class, and I also had a tutor (the only class I EVER had a tutor for - and it was my junior year of college, so I felt rather bummed out about it - but my tutor ended up being a good friend to this day, so there's that!)

Anyway, I ended up taking a bunch more Econ classes.  What are you studying now?  What is covered in those chapters?

I'd recommend hiring your own tutor.  It might cost some money, but it's worth it.  Try Craigslist, or find out if you know of an Econ major who might want a few extra bucks (I charge $30/hour for tutoring Spanish usually, and you should get some good feedback in 2 sessions a week, 2 hours per session.  Especially if it keeps you from failing, it'll be money well spent.

Yeah, but at least then you can control what you're learning and who you hire.  I think it's really worth it.  If it's another student, maybe you can do an exchange?  Like bake for them or something?  That was kind of my deal with my tutor - he was an older frat brother of the guy I was dating at the time, so I promised to cook him dinner a few times (I was notorious for being a good cook among those frat brothers) and I made him some cookies & brownies.  I didn't have to pay him!

Even still, you've said you work and that you like to treat yourself to some nice bags, right?  This is way worth a hundred bucks or so to make sure you pass.  If you want, ask your FI or your parents for the tutoring as a Christmas gift, yes?
