  • I almost feel bad, but I like my "real" dress better... This one feels more like a prom/party dress and needs some serious reconstructive surgery!  I apparenlty have lost several inches in my upper body over the last 6 months...

  • I think the sparkly-ness is awesome. Does it not match your wedding? What's your other one?

  • Awwww that's a gorgeous dress!

  • I LOVE it! It looks great on you! I'm digging the sparkles... are you wearing your other dress for part of the wedding? I may have missed that if you already posted about it!

Oh my gosh!! It's gorgeous!!!   Love the sparkles!!

Is it bad that if you don't want it, I kinda do?!?!

I've been having major dress regret lately.
  • Beautiful!

I kinda like your other dress, better, as well... if I am remembering it correctly...

  • I would possibly wear both the day of the wedding...  ie. wear my original dress for most and then change into the Marchesa later in the evening.... but I can't see spending god knows how much in alterations for a dress that I might only wear a few hours :(

I am going against the others and I am going to say that I agree with you.  I like the dress you picked out better.

  • I can't imagine having to pay for two dress alterations.  Would you ever consider selling the marchesa gown? I think both dresses are beautiful but if you really love your own dress better, you should wear it on your wedding day.

P.s. the Marchesa doesn't have a train... but it's so friggin long right now that I could have a sweep train made from it... lol   My other does, which is going to be bustled in a 3 point bustle .

Agreed! I LOVVVVE the bak of the original dress. And it has sparkles as well. Personally, I would just sell the dress you won, but it's really up to you - they are both pretty!</div>

  • I am OBSESSED with the marchesa dress. But, I definitely think it sounds like your original dress is more you and you'd be more happy in it.

I remember when you originally won the trip and the dress you were hesitant and said you considered selling whichever one you chose. That's what I would do if I were you, my dear.

  • I LOVE the Marchesa dress too - I adore how it sparkles - but it does look a little big.

Personally - I wouldn't pay to have them both altered or try to wear the both (makes me think of Kim Kardashian).  I'd get some money for the Marchesa!

    Oooo I love the sparkles!!

Sorry I have no advice to offer, but you've got two gorgeous dresses. You're going to look stunning no matter which you wear :)
