  for florist, try Shirley at the Flower Mart (http://www.flowermarttc.com). They are located in Temple City (which is only one city over from San Gabriel), and they received a Bride's Choice Award 2010 on Wedding Wire. They are my florst for my May 2012 wedding, and Shirley provide me with very reasonable pricing, and she is also very sweet as well (she answered all my questions in details, and was patient even though I changed ideas 10 millions times).   Just keep in mind that the San Gabriel Valley is very close to LA proper, and wedding professionals here are used to driving around. So anyone in the greater LA (and probably even OC) area should be fine. Also extremely close to Pasadena.
  
  As far as flowers, I will recommend a friend, if that's allowed -  Tweeny Kau at http://www.theflowerlab.com/ (she also does letterpressed invites -- http://www.tinywrenpress.com ). She has great ratings from all the review sites, and I think she has a good design sensibility. She's located on the west side, but this area should be no problem.

  I would recommend Leah from Long Lasting Impressions for hair and makeup. She'll travel, but she lives in Chino, so it's not too far away.

  @pamila51510:  ditto will47...all vendors in Los Angeles would be willing to travel to San Gabriel.  Where is her venue...just curious.  Here's my recomendation

  I agree w/ will47....Theresa does great work too...my gf used her for her wedding last year.  But she is a little pricey....
