This question is two-fold. While I am not involved in the planning of my shower, my maid of honor and sister asked me the other day if I would like any tunes played at the shower and if so, which ones. I've been a bridesmaid numerous times, but I don't remember having music played, however, I really like the idea. I think she just means background music (she know me- I'm more of a party girl than a tea-and-biscuits kind of gal). Has anyone here ever been to or planned a shower in which there was any music played?
Also, should I have any little gifts ready for my bridesmaids as a thank-you for the shower? I will definitely have gifts for them at the rehearsal dinner before the wedding to thank them for all that they have done leading up to the wedding, but just wondering if any brides out there did small gestures to thank them (or whoever threw their shower). I was at my sister-in-law's baby shower the other day and she had plants for her mom, mother-in-law and grandmother as a thank-you- but I understand it's a little different than a bridal shower. Let me know
