So we did it!
2 days before the wedidng my BM was arrested for a DUI 9which is a crime i find to be horrid! had a friend paralyzed by a drunk driver. her second ofense and the last straw for her husband who has been covering for her alcoholism and paying for her mistakes and treatment for 3 years

) so I only had my sister (MoH) there. SHe was the only family member on my side. I had about 15 friends rsvp and one showed with their guest so my side of the aisle was empty except the groomsman got wise that noone was showing and put 2 couples who came in last on my side from the grooms guest list!
That and the other normal crap didnt matter once that morning came and I finally felt like I had done all I could do!
it didn't feel real to walk down the aisle! it seemed like months of planning all boiled down to 20 minutes! (we didnt have a full mass because hubby isnt Catholic)
People left the reception after dinner (even before first dance) and after aout an hour and a half of a planned 4 hours we actually started to decide who was taking what home because so many of the only 35 or so (of 110 invited and 55 rsvped yes and a few extras maybe) guests had shown and many had left
The early ending was in a way a blessing because my husband and our closest friends were so beat! so we went to dinner later that evening (food was served at 3) and had a blast... then an electrical storm hit our hotel... closed the pool, knocked out tv and internet in a small town in Indiana.... lol!
But no matter what came it really is true that when all is said and done you consider it a success if you wound up married!!!!!
We are back home in Columbus... bags still packed and tired! but our 6 month old son is sleeping and happy and my husband went for wings... and I am so happy to be back to business as usual!
I will still be around because of my job of course just wanted to close the chapter on my personal planning!
