Hi ladies! I'm a long-time lurker but just joined the boards because...I'm engaged!!!!
It happened this past weekend. FI and I went to the Bronz Zoo for our 15 month anniversary (we try to do something every month like a dinner date or whatever) we spent the whole day walking around the zoo then the city. That night I stayed at his place and that morning, (the 15th was our 15 months) he asked me.
We were jsut waking up and he rolled over and asked me if I loved him and if I would like to be his wife. Because I was just waking up, I thought he wasn't being serious so I just smiled and said maybe. He then pulled out a ring and asked me to marry him. Needless to say, THAT woke me up...and I said yes
