Programs- WHat information did or will you include?

Aloha, wahines!

I am trying to figure out what we are going to put into our wedding programs and wanted to see what all of you have done or plan to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi! We made a rectangle fan program for the guests. Listed the Ceremony on the front which had the entrance & music (grandparents, parents, groomsmen, bridesmaids, bride). Then had the order of service. Then on the back of the program we had the Officiant & name, parents on both sides, grandparent (only had one attend), then best man, groomsmen, matron of honor, bridesmaids. We then had a personal message on the bottom thanking everyone.

    Hope that helps. You can do anything really :) I went to 2 weddings this year who had more of a photo style program. It was over 10 pgs but had pictures of each attendant/groomsmen & how they know them. Story of bride & groom, pictures of them both growing up, etc... along with their dating timeline. Very cute, neat keepsake. But like I said you could do anything :)

    We got mini-programs via Sweet Peas and Seashells on Etsy (Michelle is the best, absolutely the best!) and we had our wedding party, the order of the ceremony, a few love quotes I loved, and thank you's to our parents and guests.  Short but sweet!

    Our ceremony was super simple, so ours was more like a "schedule of the day" than a true program:

    4:00pm Ceremony
    parents of the bride:
    parents of the groom:
    moh:
    best man:
    officiant:

    group photos
    (Immediately after ceremony)

    5:15pm cocktails & hors d'oeuvres

    6:30pm sunset

    6:45pm reception

    10:00pm sparkler exit and conclusion of evening

    Sorry to butt in, but are you making programs for a short ceremony (15-20 min)?

    If so, I guess this is another project to add to the list that I didn't even think about.

    Yes, I am making my programs.  I think our ceremony will be about 20 minutes.  We are going to do fans with the programs attached to them. Still trying to figure out what I am including in the program.

    Ok, I think I've decided on including the meaning of the spirit of Aloha, the wedding party, the wedding ceremony details, Hawaiian wedding culture and meanings, lyrics to the Hawaiian wedding song, a remembrance to loved ones who have passed, thank yous and reception information.
