Bridal Shower location

I'm planning my wedding in Cincinnati, Oh and recently moved to Maryland.  My mom and sister want to throw a shower in the Baltimore area because a lot of my family are closer to MD than OH. However, I don't know much about the area and definitely have no idea a good place to have a shower.  Ideally, we'd like to find somewhere between Baltimore and Frederick or Baltimore and DC. 

I was hoping you all might have some suggestions.  Thank you in advance!!

    Just a few questions....

    How many people are looking to have?  Do you have an idea of a type of venue...restaurant, hall, hotel, etc? 

    Since you're looking for areas between Baltimore - DC/Frederick - I would start with Columbia or Ellicott City.  That seems to be in the middle.

    - Turf Valley Golf Course - they have a nice restaurant
    - Sheraton at Columbia Town Center - also has a nice restaurant (or a smaller conference room)
    - Eggspectations
    - Victoria's Gastro Pub
    - Portalli's (Main St., Ellicott City)
    - Ellicott Mills Brewery

    Just a few ideas - mostly restaurants that have private rooms or areas.  I hope this helps.
