S/O: Are you afraid of clowns?

I was looking at the creepy toy posts and some of those toys are indeed creepy.

So, are you afraid of clowns? To make this thread more interesting, do you have any funny clown stories? The reason why you're afraid? A funny clown run-in?

    I'm so sorry to hear about Tuffy. I hope your doing alright. I just lost my dog a few months back and it's still hard sometimes. Have you ever read The Rainbow Bridge? It's a great poem but I will warn you, read it when you're in the mood to cry because you will.

    Clowns- Never really scared me too much. One time a friend and I were driving with my mom and there was a clown in a beetle next to us. We waved and she waved back with her cigarette in hand. We were about 14 at the time so it was hilarious and a bit creepy.

    I really like clowns! My parents used to take me to the circus when I was little and I always loved the clowns. I also had a giant stuffed clown when I was little that I used as a pillow. I never found anything scary about them. Most of my friends that are afraid of clowns are only afraid of clowns because of  a movie and have never met one in really life.

    P.S. So sorry to hear abouot your dog! I lost 2 of my dogs last year and it was very hard. I hope you are doing ok :)

    Eek!  To quote sex and the city "there's nothing scarier than a clown."  And I whole heartedly agree with that!

    I'm guessing I haven't gotten to our post about Tuffy since I'm going down from the top to catch up.  I am soooo sad to hear that he is gone!!!  :(   *big hugs*  We went through the loss of our Beau a few months back.  It's tough...

    As far as clowns.  I am insanely scared of them.  Reason would be the movie IT.
