on his twitter he is bitching that people aren't accepting his apology. It DISGUSTS me that he would spew such vitriol under the guise of being a christian. He can't unsay a damn thing. He made his thoughts PERFECTLY clear ON TAPE. He can't unring that bell no matter how hard he whines about it.

I'm a Christian and it makes my blood boil that people associate my faith with that kind of disgusting hatred. I mean, hell, Jesus hung out with everyone, he didn't give a rip about who you were. Nothing about his message has anything to do with this guy and his damaging hate.

People like this really exist? And not just the crazypants preacher, but all of the congregation listening? Laughing and agreeing?

I've been to some churches where the pastor was preaching something pretty questionable (I didn't stay at those churches), but if I were listening to this I couldn't just sit in the audience quietly to be polite. It amazes me how some people are just drawn to hateful messages.

This sort of reminds me of the documentary "For the Bible Tells Me So." I think it is streamable on Netflix. It is eye-opening and incredibly sad.
