what exactly does the Day of Wedding Planner do? i would like one so I don't have to worry about anything, but some people don't understand what they could take care of that would cause me stress

    There isn't a lot that they don't do.
    Give Checks to Vendors
    Make sure the event follows the timeline
    Make sure that you have everything you need (water while you are getting photos taken, pins, bobby pins, a general emergancy kit)
    Checks on the set-up makes sure everything is where its supposed to be. Mine has 3 people one will be at my house, one will be at the venu for the reception and one will be at the church with the boys.
    She is creating a check list, and a timeline
    She will be at the rehearsal making sure everyone knows what to do when
    If someone gets lost she can give directions
    If something goes wrong - cake is missing or bridal boquet is red instead of white she will solve the problem without my knowing it.
    She will do all of the little running around grabbing the garter when I need it or a change of shoes. She can help bustle my dress.
    She's setting up the church w/ our programs, pew bows, bubbles and those sorts of things.
    She will place favors in the right spot and take care of menu cards.

    I agree with PP!  My DOC was great and did all of the above.  I had a lot of details and she took care of everything.  She also was always available leading up to the wedding for questions or for me to run ideas past her...which trust me I did a lot!  I highly recommend my DOC, Katie from Sara Kate Events.
