    What is the deal pickle?

    It seems like there has been an influx of these things lately, and it's definitely not something I understand. It is so weird to me that people think that they should get a PPD because they deserve it. My H deserves a new car, but that ain't happening anytime soon.

    WOW. This sounds amazing, although I have to admit, I'm about as attached to the "festive dress" idea as I am to the thought of everyone wearing their wedding gowns.

    Maybe we can do both?

    Perhaps that's how we can do a "trash the dress" afterwards?

    Think of it - festooning the gowns with garland and mistletoe, or jingle bells, or even wearing Santa hats and elf ears with our veils and/or tiaras.

    And people could wear those curly-toed elf boots too!

Unnecessary IMO as well. Sure people may be in the wrong and I am all for honestly but I was raised by the motto 'if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all.'

    That was why I asked, Tho I think they're making fun of PPD's more than the person themself, thats what usually bothers me, why are you intentionally making fun of someone.

    There does seem to be a rash of PPD-itis going on these days.

    I think that anyone invited to a do over has every right to wear their own dress, and have a first dance and bouquet too!

    I want to play in the waterfalls with Anna but not in the winter. Too cold. A Christmas in July celebration so we can have the elf stuff and the better weather. SD winters are brutal.
