There are a lot of questions about how to book honeymoons and by what means so I thought I'd share my experience with one website.
I actually heard about Luxurylink.com once on here and checked it out. The basic jist of it is that they've got lots of deals (usually between 35-55% off) on select hotels and resorts for a certain amount of time. They give very good descriptions of the deals and properties. Most (maybe all) of the prices include the taxes and service charges which is nice.
There are "buy now" options (set price, which is what we did) or if you have more flexibility with your dates you can do an auction and from what I understand, usually get an even better deal.
The site takes like $40 and does the booking for you, which given the savings on the hotel IMO is totally fine. Our only issue was that we couldn't get our 1st or 2nd choice for dates. However that could be because we waited a little long to book (oops) and our hotel is very small so there weren't that many rooms to begin with. Once we were finally booked we received a confirmation from LL, however I would recommend contacting the hotel afterward to just confirm with them. Overall very good experience!
