Where to buy wedding rings?

Hi ladies,

I'm new in Rhode Island and wanted to know where you bought your wedding rings to give me an idea where to start looking.

Our wedding is on June 25th and we still haven't gotten rings!

I would try MRT Jewelers and Roman Jewelers are my favorite local picks. Some popular chains like Ross Simon and Hannoush Jewelers also have a great selection.

I highly recommend MRT in East Providence. Both my e-ring and our wedding bands came from there. When we started looking at e-rings, we shopped around at other local jewelers and then went there and they had by far the best selection and great prices. So it was a no-brainer when it came time to shop for rings. I had my rings appraised for insurance and, all together, they came in valued at nearly $3K more than we paid for them, so I know we got a good value.

I also can't say enough about the service we've gotten there. I've bent prongs a couple of times by whacking my hand and they've fixed it for free as a walk-in while I waited. I got my e-ring (white gold) redipped before the wedding so it would match my new band and when I asked what it cost, she said it was their wedding gift to me, so no charge. Also, all repairs are done on site, so I never have to worry about my ring being sent out somewhere like is done at many of the chain places.

I absolutely recommend MRT.  They are a fantastic business with wonderful sales people and I have been so impressed by their customer service and the quality of their pieces.  My engagement ring, our wedding rings, and my wedding presents have all come from there.

My engagment ring is from Kay, and while Fiance got a good deal -- I would def. check out MRT. In fact it was recommended to me year ago by my manicurist who's sister is a diamond grader. She buys a lot of her stuff from there- and does their gemology.

Originally, we were going to get my band there .THey had a HUGE selection and a great price. When one band I looked at was pulled out. I almost fell over at the price! .I'm not longer getting a band (I'm using my grandmothers diamond ring instead)... but if I was, I would go there.
We are going to get FI's ring at MRT.

I also really like Ephrhaim Dumato as well- but they don't have the hugest selection.

Thank you for the suggestions! Will definitely check out MRT. I looked on their site and didn't see a lot to choose from but perhaps they have more in-store?

Yeah, definitely don't judge based on their less-than-stellar Web site; they have a TON of rings. I feel like we were there there for hours because my e-ring was tough to match and I can never make a decision. But they're super patient and will pull out rings all day for you to look at.
