Ugh! Stupid cousin. Vent

One of Chad's cousins (She is 15 I think.) posted a picture of a STD she got from one of her teachers on facebook. This really bugs me for multiple reasons. 1) I would be pissed if someone posted ours for everyone to see. 2) I'm sure not everyone at school is getting one. She posted it to brag, but it is going to make others realize they were left out.

I do have to say, that teacher was stupid for inviting a loud mouthed and rude (sorry, she is) teen to her wedding if she isn't inviting all the kids.

For the record, she is one of the cousins we didn't want at the wedding and are happy she isn't coming. (We are a$$holes, I know. :P)

    I hate to say this but I almost feel that its the teachers fault. 

    I mean it kind of is a normal thing that 15 year olds do. Stupid stuff they never think about before they do it and they always post everything on facebook. I can't believe what some of my young cousins post. 

    I am surprised to hear you say a teacher is inviting students to her wedding.

    Wow...I almost put the blame on the teacher here, too. I teach high school and my kids ask all the time if they are invited to my wedding and they get a big, fat NO! (And they are seriously offended...why would I even think to invite them?!). I am inviting four former students (all of whom are college-aged now). One is actually a family friend (I went to school with her sister and our moms are good friends), but the other three are just three girls from my first group of students who are very special to me (one is actually my hairdresser now). But I would never invite current students! Geez!

    ETA: Today one of my classes tried to guess my wedding date (they know it's in June). It took them a while to even guess the 16th, but I kept telling them every answer was wrong. I won't even let them know what day it is, much less invite them!

    I do agree that it is mostly the teacher's fault. This cousin just really annoys me. Why hasn't her mom told her to take it off? (I could probably answer that question, but I really shouldn't! :P She is one of "The Aunts"......)

    I agree that she's acting like a typical teenager.  However, two teachers I know got married last summer and they invited all of the students in their class to the church ceremony, but obviously not to the reception.  The kids were also elementary aged so I guess that makes a difference too.

    That's really inappropriate, that teacher should be fired and tried on criminal charges.  And doesn't FB remove x-rated photos?  And how stupid does a 15 year old have to be to take a picture of an STD she got from ANYONE and post it on FB?  A doctor should be the one looking at it, not her friends!

    I was invited to a teacher's wedding once, but it was the music teacher, and I was in her choir club. She used us as free vocals for her wedding. Now that I think about it, I'm mad! Choirs are expensive! Child labor!

    I teach high school too and my students asked if they could come and I told them NO! So were offended and others looked at the ones that asked and said "Are you stupid ... Of course she is not inviting us. It is her wedding and why would she want to spend it with kids who drive her crazy" A few of my former students are invited but they have a special connection to me and my family (one has basically become another daughter). I like my students but I am not sharing details with them and they will not be there when it happens ...

    I am the Math Coach (Title 1 position) at a school.  There will be some students invited, but it's only because their parents are friends of mine or FI's.  I've had several of my nieces' friends ask if they can come...uh no, my guest list is long enough!
