Flexible Chicago venues

I am looking for a space in the city (transit accessible) that will let me give 100 friends tacos/pizza and beer. Honestly if they're flexible about letting me order pizza from wherever and I can bring an iPod and stay until 11 p.m., I'm not concerned about the price. I want to do as little work as possible, so tables and chairs are a must. (I don't care about linens - I won't have any. Or I'll get plastic ones from the dollar store.)

This must exist, right? I can't be the only one. Note that I don't really care about aesthetics or fanciness or whatever.

Please help!

Re: Flexible Chicago venues

  • What about finding like a church or something that you are affiliated with and renting out their common area?

A school would be another one that you could do (though no liquor).

  • You might want to try Kitchen Chicago.  They are very flexible and pretty much let you bring in any food/booze you want.  They have space for 100, but not sure they have seating for 100 - might have to rent a few chairs...

    good luck!
