Re: florist needed---east end/verona/penn hills area

  • Can you define affordable?  That would help some of the other girls reply.

With that, I had a very limited flower budget for a wedding party of 14 people, 2 mothers, reception flowers, and fifteen reception tables.  I went to Blumengarten in the Strip and had a great consultation.  He knew all about flowers and how to work within my budget without compromising my vision.

I have also read alot of recommendations for Carrie Ann Powell.  See the recommended vendor listing too at the top of the Board.  Good luck on your search!

  • We're using Tracey Wright Floral.  She's awesome!  Very affordable, and her portfolio is beautiful.    She actually just put together a sample arrangment for me this weekend - it's gorgeous!   Can't wait to have them on my tables :-)   She doesn't have a website, but her number is 412-999-1198
  • We are using Val Brroks. I also had a consult with Carrie Powell (she was really nice but out of our budget). If you need Val's contact info, let me know.

  • I am using Shop-N-Save in Penn Hills for my wedding. My sister helps out Toni in the floral department and I've seen their work and its amazing and sooo much cheaper than going to a florist. The quality of the flowers are geat and Toni will not let anything go out unless its perfect. Shes going my whole wedding for about $800.

  • I have an appointment at flowers in the attic on Friday. From what the pictures looked like and comments from other brides, they are wonderful florists. try there :) they also have an antique shop and you can do lunch there too I believe if you want to make a day of it.
