Finally picked a venue!

I have officially booked my reception venue. After a lot of searching, my fiance and I chose the Waypoint Event Center in New Bedford, MA.

Here are a couple pics that I took of the inside:

I love my venue, but now I'm so confused about my colors? Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm trying to pick something that will go nicely with the warm yellow walls (I'll probably have uplighting on the walls, but I don't know how much that will affect the color).

Congrats on picking your venue!

What time of year are you getting married?
I think a slate grey and a deap purple/plum would look awesome in that room!
and you could use warm amber colored uplighting.

What time of year is your wedding? With yello you can do autum colors if its autumn. I think a navy blue would look really pretty with a pale yellow too.

Or simply yellows and greens.

Our wedding is in the spring. I really loved the idea of purples and I also looked into amber uplighting, which I had never heard of before.

So I made a new inspiration board:

I think I want the amber uplighting during dinner and first dance, so it will look like candlelight, but maybe the color can change to something dramatic like purple for the rest of the night

I also picked the Waypoint Event Center but our date is far away( 9/1/13). I would love to hear any advice or comments about your planning etc. Congratulations!
