Reception in Philly

So I'm newly engaged and we have been looking at reception sites. Has anyone gotten married or has booked the Hilton on City Ave?

    I had my reception at a different Hilton in University City.  I don't think any girls (that I know of) got married at the one you're talking about.  I was happy with our hilton and since we travel a lot, the hilton honor points were a nice bonus!  It's actually affording us a night in AC next month.

    My mom wanted me to look at it, but I had my prom there when it was still 12 Caesars so I told her that was too weird for me, but a good family friend had her wedding there and it was beautiful. I did meet with the wedding staff to appease my mom and they were super nice and I would have felt confident leaving my wedding in their hands.

    Shirz, I completely understand not wanting to get married where you had your prom. That would be a little weird. The staff is really nice, it is really pretty and the price is great. I guess we kind of are wondering what the hitch is since it seems to good to be true. Where are you having your reception?

    I ended up getting married at the Please Touch Museum, but the Hilton wasn't too good to be true when my friend got married there. The whole thing went off without a hitch and was really elegnat and classy!
