Since our reception ends at 10:00 pm and a lot of our guests are coming from out-of-town, we're thinking of having a reception after-party. We asked people if they were interested and got a resounding, "Yes!!"
But some after-partyers want to dance, others want to lounge, and a handful (but not the majority) think karaoke would be a blast. My FI and I won't be staying the entire time, and we're not partial to anything.
I'm from Maryland but haven't lived at "home" in 8 years -- since I was 17 and too young to enjoy anything.... Any suggestions?
Details on the group:
-- 20-30 people (so we need space)
-- late-twenties (21+ would be ideal)
-- African-American (somewhere w/ a good mix of cultures would be great)
-- grad students/young professionals (no "bounce that booty, [insert expletive of choice] music)
