RSVP card!

So we finally go our invitations out, and yesterday we got our first RSVP back!!!
 
I opened it & was SUPER excited...only to ready it was a "Decline with Regret"

My FI was laughing at my expression and automatically guesses it was a Decline, he made a silly joke, and we both laughed for a second, but I was still Embarassed about it...

    I was happy about our declines!  LOL.  That meant less $ I had to spend.  I would have been pissed if it was someone important though, like a close family member.  Speaking of, one of Andrew's grandmothers and one of mine didn't show!  The other of Andrew's g-ma's made an excuse that they were busy that day....I was FUMING!  Aside from that I was pretty happy about declines.

    It does kind of hurt though to get one...it's like you're not important enough for that person to take time out of their day.

    That was the funny that made us laugh, he said, hey that less food, cake & $ and we laughed.

    These guests are not immidate family, or friends, so we wont miss them for sure... I guess it just bothered me because it was the VERY first one we got back... lol

    We got ours out on Tuesday and we got 2 rsvps back already.  Im excited..but, we are counting on "regrets" because we are over our guest list by about 12 people :-)....I agree with Kasi I think I would get sad abotu someone not taking time out of their day for our special day :-( but, I do like Lulu have some people I would like to decline with regret LOL

    Although it was a regret :( there is still nothing like getting that first RSVP card back...makes it all seem so real lol
