What would you do? airbrush make up

I originally got a make up trial with traditional make up and I liked how it looked a lot but I did notice that the foundation and almost completely worn off by the end of the day.  I decided maybe it would be best to get airbrush make up instead.  I was going to go with Meghann Davis but then my hair person, Candi Eckstrom, told me she could get me someone for 60 bucks.  She didn't say the person's name though.  Megann Davis will be 150 with travel fees included.
Both of them offer trials for 45 dollars.

Would you go with Meghann Davis or the cheaper person for sixty bucks?

I don't know that I really want to get two trials.....

I used Meghann for airbrush and my makeup was flawless all day. I would go with the person who is more recommended than the one who is cheaper. This is your face we are talking about. You know, the one in all your wedding photos. :)

While I cringe at the thought of spending more money, I think in this case Erica is right. You really don't want to take any chances with your face. Unless, of course, your hair gal comes back with the name and it's someone else you've heard get recommended on here a lot. But in general, I think you get what you pay for with the makeup.

I used Meghann for hair and makeup, and I don't regret it one single bit. She was my absolute favorite vendor, both in personality and in terms of her work. Honestly, I would pay 3 times as much for her if I had to do it all over again!

While there are certain places you can cut your budget and people won't notice, in my opinion...hair and makeup isn't one of them :)

Not that this was your initial question, but is Meghann charging $150 for airbrush makeup ONLY? I ask this because I know she charges a lesser price for the knottie girls..

Vedika, she charges 90 for airbrush only plus 25 because Im the only person getting it plus 30 to 40 as a travel fee.

LeJeune is 60 for airbrush make up....so that may be who she was talking about :) I'm using them but haven't had a trial but my DOC referred them! She charges $50 for traveling.

I'm going with Meghann! I posted a post with pics if you want to see to give you an idea of her work! I was also charged 90 for airbrush and 25 for single person fee...and trial is 45. She was SO worth it! LeJeune was booked on my date already.

yea, cheaper is not always better.  I've seen meghan work in pics and the girls always look fabulous.  She would definately be worth the extra money.

Maybe you can do a trial w/ your hair gal's lady to see if it is really worth the money you save. If you hate it, then just give Meghann a call. I'm using her and I agree w/ the other pps.....she's great!
