Elegant Wedding Venue Ballrooms??

Hi!

I just got engaged a couple of weeks ago Laughing, but I'm already going crazy trying to find a wedding venue.  I'm looking for an indoor ballroom for a seated reception dinner and dance floor that will hold around 300 people.  I'm mostly looking at Spring Hall and the Biltmore ballrooms right now, but I wanted to know if any one else had other similar suggestions?

Also, if they allow me to bring my own alcohol that would be a plus too! (which Spring Hall does allow)

I don't know if its big enough, but I love our venue - Wimbish House. Its gorgeous in there, and you can bring your own alcohol.

Just an FYI to everyone.  My friend just went through a nightmare with Spring hall that almost ruined her wedding.  They are off buford hwy in a shopping center.  Very nice place but very HORRIBLE service and owner.

I did go check out Eleven 15 events in Suwanee.  The were reasonably priced and very booked.  The place was beautiful on the inside and can accomodate ceremony and reception.  We were just looking for something a little more formal and separate.

    Good luck in your search!!

My number one choice had we decided to marry here was Greystone at Piedmont Park. It's beautiful with lots of rich history. It's not a "formal ballroom" but you could certainly dress it up to come pretty close.

You could try Occasions Event Center, Atlanta History Center, The Pavillion at East Cobb, The Arbor Connection, or Thalia Carlos Hellenic Center
