BM Dress Shopping

After attending a wedding yesterday, I am now even more excited for our wedding and planning!!! ekkkkk next on my list is BM shopping since I won't be able to get all the girls together with my crazy scheduale in the fall. We will be doing it here in July. Has anyone started to look or gone shopping with their maids? I have 2 stoes I plan on looking at. 1 being where I got my dress so I can try the sample (since mine won't be in till November) for my FMIL and FSIL and othe BMs who havent seen it yet and the other my MOH suggested from a wedding she was in. The shops are roughly 30 mins a part on a good day without traffic in Pittsburgh. It will be the weekend so I doubt traffic will be bad. How far apart did or will you space out appontments. I wanted to call ttomorrow and scheduale for both places. I was thinking the one, we be there at 10am and then the other 2pm. That gives us enough time, I would think to try on plus sneak a quick lunch in. Both places have the same dresses and designers except one of two and I already have a running list of dresses I wanna see.

    Sorry I can't be of much help. We decided to not have any bridesmaids, so it will just be one maid of honor, one best man, 2 flower girls and 2 ring bearers. 

    I did go with my mom though yesterday to just get a quick look at some dresses for her and my sister who is the maid of honor. She had so much fun. It is was so cute.

    </div><div>The best woman (FI's sister) and I picked a dress from Nordstrom for her. Of thre rack dresses can be a good way to go even if you have multiple bridesmaids- you get a lot more for the money.</div>

    Thanks ladies!!! At times I wish I would have, but I couldn't picture not having my FI siblings and closes friends with us that day! Best of luck with you ladies as well planning. It's a good idea for going to Nordstorm but we have one, but it is a small one. Even the Macys are all small and don't have wedding collections around here like others do.

    Sounds like you have a pretty good handle on it. You could always ask the store how long their average apt is. Then take a deep breath and know what YOU want. You can always change your mind or compromise, but keep true to your vision.

     Sorry I can't be of much help, all of my girls are wearing different dresses and shoes, so I will travel to them and go shopping with one ot two of them at a time..

    A couple of my BMs and I are going to a local wedding fair in a couple of weeks. It's being put on by a local bridal consignment shop and they'll be selling BM dresses there for dirt cheap so they can hopefully get their dresses then :-)
