Eye Candy Cosmetics

Hey ladies - one of the other brides asked about Eye Candy Cosmetics (http://www.eyecandycosmetics.org) and not a lot of ladies knew about her services. I actually had my trial last night so I wanted to post my review.

Candy was wonderful before I even met her. My original make-up artist backed out 3 weeks before the wedding due to a conflict with her morning bride. I was left scrambling to find a new make-up artist. I stumbled upon Candy's web site through a google search and I liked what I read so I sent her an email. I heard back from her within two hours. She answered all my questions and gave me her cell phone to follow-up. My trial last night was more of this same great attention. Candy took the time to listen to the look I wanted and find the colors that looked best on me while achieving the look I was looking for. She gave great advice and listened at the same time. She instantly made me comfortable. I can't wait to see my look paired with my dress and hair. I would highly reccomend Candy from my experience with her thus far.

does she do airbrush that is one question I had? not that that would make or break it for me but I just wondered. And I am glad it looked good, her pictures on the website are great, and i like that she offers a discount for the more bridesmaids booked.

I love the idea of a make up artist, but I can do the SAME thing for nothing.

Can I ask how much she's charging for your day of?

I really want to have my makeup done but it's so pricey! :-(

Sorry I am just responding to these posts. I've been slammed with the last few days of planning.

I don't have any photos (sorry) but I can post some after the wedding. I did my trial in the evening and when I woke up the next morning it still looked fantastic! I felt like I looked like myself, just more amplified.

Candy doesn't do airbrushing. Most of her product is MAC; she does have a few choices of foundation, MAC professional foundation, bareMinerals and GloMinerals just depending on skin type.

The price for the day of the wedding for a bride is $100.00. She does offer a discount if there are a total of 4 getting their makeup done the bride would be $75.00. Bridesmaids are $55.00 and if there are 4 or more it would be $50.00, Most of my products are MAC; I have a few choices of foundation, MAC professional foundation, bareMinerals and GloMinerals just depending on skin type.
    Hope that helps everyone.
