Losing Weight

I would relly love to take some weight off for my big day. I am so not motivated lately. I don't want to try on dresses until I am at my target weight. Do you think I should go try a few on to see if it kick starts my motivation? Thank god I have one year. But honestly, I know this cannot wait until the last minute.

i think, if you really want to do it, you'll find motivation.  And no, you really shouldn't wait.  Hop on a site like SparkPeople(it's free), track all your food (maybe you'll see the problem right off), get off your butt and move (exercise is a big help in feeling healthy, in my opinion), AND

  • I'm in the same boat! I have a year so I keep telling myself I have time. I cannot find motivation! I started thinking if I saw myself in a dress it would be the kick in the butt I need! If you find up going to look at dresses let us know if that makes you more motivated! :-)

  • I was in your same boat 11 months ago. I wanted to lose weight, but I also wanted to try on dresses. I went and actually found my dream dress. A certain size fit me perfect and it was actually a size smaller than I thought it would be. once I purchased the dress it motivated me even more to get on it. I have now lost 24 lbs and still going. Just planning to have my dress altered :)

  • try on dresses! when you're trying them on just think: is this ideally how I want to look on my wedding day??? if the answer is no, then maybe that will be the motivation you need!
I use sparkpeople to track my food, and when I have a hard time getting motivated I post pics of models in dresses I like and that helps me get my butt in gear!

One thing I've come to learn about losing weight is to keep the motivation and confidence going. That is the foremost principle according to me.In addition eating proper diet, avoid cheese contained food and lactose will help you.But you need to burn out the calorie also.Walking, swimming even dancing helps a lot in burn out.Eat vegetables and water. This will help achieving your goal.

  • Thanks so much everyone. You guys are great.
  • I have been struggling with my weight for awhile, fluctuating between 175 and 155...In January I started with ACE as a skeptic. I am sure, like me, you all have tried everything. Between Walmart and Walgreens I sure have!
Well, I am happy to say that yesterday I officially reached my goal size of size 4!!!!!!

There are many sites on the web selling this, do a search, I got mine from:
A.C.E. Your Weight. I am sure they will help you to!
