Leaving for a cruise in 3 days - will the weather hold out?

DH and I are leaving on our honeymoon, a Caribbean cruise out of Bayonne on Thurs and right now, with that hurricaine off Mexico, the weather is not looking good.

Anyone else about to go away down there and starting to get nervous about the weather?

They're usually pretty good about navigating around bad weather.  If it's really bad at or near any of your ports they might have to skip that stop though.  I'll keep my fingers crossed it doesn't affect (effect? I suck at that word) your honeymoon!!!!

my husband and i cruised in the middle of hurricane irene this august. we arrive at one destination only to have that country hit by irene the day or two before we were there. it was bumpy, too! however, our captain sped us through the atlantic and got us home an hour early. we shot right past irene, thankfully. they kept us updated and i really felt rather safe. we crused from bayonne too.
