I feel awful..

Our guest list is tight. I am praying that many that we invite won't come because I want to invite who I want there, not some aunt or uncle I never see.

So tonight I was talking to a friend who asked if they would be invited. I would love to invite her and her husband, but Idk if we will have room yet. She is a stylist and offered to do hair and makeup free for the bridal party. Oh man, right? I told her that I have a very limited guest list because fam is so big, but if several decline then ill be able to. I don't want her thinking i Only want her there to do hair and such now though.

I feel bad. She said she totally understands and I know she does, but I still can't stop feeling bad. I just needed to get that off my chest. Thanks for reading.

    I never know what to say when in that position either but I hate it. I think it's rude to ask someone if your invited to the wedding. It's such a personal event and in most cases expensive. You handled it well IMO.

    I also think it's rude for anyone to ask that. I invited a lot more people than I wanted, but my parents offered to pay to cover all the extra people so I'm just going to suck it up and enjoy the day.

    I got offered my make up for free as well from my MOH's FSIL, and her husband is doing our videography for cheap, so we invited them. But I understand that the guest list is a tough topic and it's hard to squeeze more people in when you are close to or over your limit. I agree that you seemed to handle it well.

    Thanks for the support ladies. We will be able to fit more if we do banquet tables instead of round and that's what we will do if it is necessary, but I haaaate long tables and really really want rounds.
