Do it or skip it?

My photographer offers a photo station, it's like the photo booth idea but she has her assistant take photos the photos instead of machine and they have little props and what not.

She can do the actual photo station for no extra charge but to have the photos print there it's going to cost extra.  I really can't put out more $ at this point with the holidays and the higher then expcted guest list.

I do get a disk of all the photos and can print them after....So do you think it would be stupid to do if nobody is getting their pictures right on the spot?  I thought about printing them and sending them to people after but I don't want to commit to that b/c of course that will cost me more $, but it's an option

So should I do it or skip it if I can't get them printed right on the spot?

IMO, I would skip it.  You're going to have lots of guests bring their digital cameras anyway, so it seems like a needless expense either way.

I think that since your wedding is going to be on NYE, this could be a really fun idea.  You mentioned getting NYE stuff like glasses and horns so you could incorporate those into the props.  If you have a quieter group of guests who wouldn't have fun with the pics, then don't waste the 2nd photog's time.

Are you having the regular wedding pics put online?  If so, can they add these so people can view/purchase their own pics?

Oh we definetly don't have a quite group :)

They will be put online and I get a disk with all the photos and the right to print them. I might actually be doing the printer thing now b/c my mom offered to pay for it
