Hello, ladies! Need some opinions!

Hi, everyone!

I am also a June bride. We put the deposit down on our venue last week, and are getting married June 1st, 2013. It's amazing how much more "real" it all feels once the venue is booked! To date, we also have our ceremony site (same location as venue), and our officiant (FI's best friend).

We had originally decided on red, black, white, and grey for our colors. Red is my favorite color! But, the more I think about it, the more I'm starting to think that red isn't very spring/summery. What are your thoughts on this? Should I just stick with it because I love it? I know it's ultimately my decision, but I'm not a picky person, so I'm also not opposed to choosing something different. We are having an evening wedding.

Any feedback would be great! Looking forward to getting to know everyone.

Do what you want! Nothing says that you have to have pastels and "spring/summer colors" just because you have your wedding in June. If it's your favorite color, and you love the combo, stick with it! Those colors sound very pretty and I imagine it being very elegant for an evening wedding. Good luck with your planning!

Do whatever colors make you happy. If you want red, then by all means...have red! It doesn't matter what season it is.

The colors do not have to match what season it is. It's your wedding, so the bottom line is to do exactly what you and your FI want!. I think those colors will look beautiful together.

If you love it, stick with it! If you go with something else, you will constantly second guess yourself. (I love red too, and would definitely be doing red, but FBIL had red, and they're getting ready to go through a divorce, so I opted to choose different colors. Silly? Maybe, but I feel better about it!)

Don't worry about it I know lots of girls who have used red in late spring early summer weddings it was stunning. There is no set rule on what kind of colors you must choose. My favorite color combination just so happend to be springy. I think red will be a wonderful choice.

Use the colors you like. If you're really hemming and hawing about a color change, check out 'the perfect palette' they have a lot of great ideas.

Colors don't have 'seasons', that's an old fashioned way of thinking. Make it your own!

I love your color combo! super elegant, for ANY season. Don't worry about it at all, everyone will remember how pretty it is, not that it wasnt "summery" enough
