Need a Venue with a Different Set Up for Dancing & Dining

I am looking for a venue with a unique space set up.  I'd like to have the dance floor sort of separate from the dining area.  I feel like when the dining area has a dance floor, its often very loud and the non-dancers don't get a chance to chat.  I went to an outdoor wedding in South Jersey where it was nicely done and we spent the entire evening catching up with friends we hadnt seen in awhile.

Ideally, looking for a fall wedding next year, approx 180-200 people.   Northern NJ or Hudson Valley (near woodbury commons).  I cant seem to find what I'm looking for :(  I'd like something relatively simple, not looking for a lot of flare -- very clean look.

Any suggestions?

Check out the Round Hill House in Washingtonville.  I've been to two weddings there.  Not sure if their room can accomodate that many people though.  Seems like the exact setup you are looking for though.

@Shan1214 Thank you - that is one of the venues we have been debating and where my SO is from!  (Plus it can double as an outlet visit ;)

I looked into Twin Oaks in Summit - it's an old mansion, and dining and dancing would be split up in separate rooms. But I don't think it would fit all your guests.

Castle on the hudson is like this.  I was there 2 yrs ago and we ate in one room and danced in another.

Maybe the High Lawn Pavillion? I heard their room is T shaped.
Also try Man sion at Bretton Woods.

Have you visited Mohonk Mountain House in New Paltz, NY?  It is magical.

Lake Valhalla Club doesn't have 2 separate rooms, but the DJ is above the dance floor, and so are the speakers, so no one has to sit near the speakers.
