We are getting married outside in a garden in a white gazebo. We can't decide on the live music for our ceremony. Should we have a singing acoustic guitarist or a woman playing a harp?
I have been told, when we were considering a harpist for our wedding, that if it is outdoors and there is any wind the sound could be carried away from the guests and harder to hear. But if the harpist has some sort of amp I think this would be ok. I like the idea of the harp better, I think it's more romantic. Hope this helps!!

Is the area in front of the gazebo paved? Harps are very heavy and need to be wheeled, not carried, so keep that in mind if it's a long way away from the parking lot, etc. Depending on where you want to have your harpist sit, you may want to use an amp- you can ask the harpist what they recommend.
