Fall Falling Foliage Venue not too far?

Well I guess I must go out of south cali to get an outdoor wedding with orange trees as background. But hope don't have to go as far as New England. So,any idea about where to find that kind of place not that far from South Cali?

    Far enough so that you find a place where the seasons are predictable. Here in CA we get sometimes get fall leaves as late as January, and sometimes as early as November. You might want to try Washington state. It's far north, but it's probably be cheaper if you choose a city like Spokane.

    The Central Coast - from about Santa Barbara north - is beautiful in the fall just before Thanksgiving.
