So, I am so glad I went to my mom's to try everything on, the jewelry and veil as well. Because as I was putting my necklace on, it broke! And the pearl beads went everywhere. Imagine if that had happened on my wedding day, ack!! I'm pretty mad at the seller from Etsy, it was a $50 set! Crazy. So we put on my mom's pearl necklace just to use as a placeholder, and I loved it! So I'm using that and getting new earrings. So here it is, I feel much better now with all the accessories, so I'll leave the dress as is.

You look amazing! Love the necklace and veil with the dress.

I initally made my own pearl jewelery but the necklace breaking was my greatest fear and I bought one that was knotted between the pearls instead since I feel it is more secure against breaking.

Yah, I hadn't even thought about it! But the necklace I will be wearing now is secure with knots in between them all so it will be good to go. Now I have to find some new earrings, but that will be easy- there is a lot of pearl drops. But I'm just irked I spent $50 on a cheap set! Ugh.

i would be hitting etsy up and contacting seller. A lot of times they will refund your money, especially if you leave a bad review. I had someone offer to refund my money and in turn i would take back my negative feedback. WORTH IT!!

Love it! I think there is something so special about wearing things that belong to family (I'm wearing my mom's dress and my sister's veil!). I'm doing a full test run on Friday, along with a hair trial, so I can make sure everything is SET!

I did email her to let her know I was unhappy that it broke, but glad it didn't happen on my wedding day. She offered to mail another one, but the wedding is in a week, and it took awhile to get here last time, and honestly, I don't want her work now. I'm not expecting my money back since I bought it back in July, but I did want her to know I was unhappy and at least get an apology! But it works, the new jewelry looks way better! (She did offer to give me $50 coupon to get whatever from her, but everything is very glam so it's nothing I would wear normally... so I feel vindicated she offered at least but am just going to let it go!)

Maybe it was meant to be so that you could have your "something borrowed!" On another note I would definitely be contacting the seller for a refund.
