  We put those things in too. But we also added the readings and a nice thank you to our parents and VIPS. I just wanted something simple.

  We aren't doing them. I feel like they look empty and people just toss them anyways.

  We're planning on doing program fans at our beach ceremony. We're going to include the bridal party and and the event information. I'm also thinking of having a remembrance of our grandparents on it, in some way. I'm not sure if we'll have awhile lot of information but I think having it as a fan too makes that ok. July on the Cape can be brutal!

  I'm tempted to do programs but they'll certainly take more time creating them than the entire ceremony itself.  Plus they just get tossed...

  
  

  To answer your question though, I would put in songs and any readings (with the reader's name).  You could also do a little memorial tribute..

  We opted out of programs...Seems like not a good use of paper.  We're not trying to be over-the-top environmentalists, but weddings seem to be a place where you could really just over do it in a lot of areas.  So, our goals is to be as consientious as possible.  Besides, I don't think I want to take on anything else!

  We just did ours. On the front was a run down of the ceremony and the music for the different aspects. On the back we put Wedding VIPs. With 16 in the WP alone, ours is not empty at all!!! We also added a tribute to Tonys mom on the bottom. We almost didnt have room, but since his dad isnt coming, that gave us two extra lines!
