Looking for affordable seamstress

Hi everyone,

So my dress just came in! Yay! I'm looking for an affordable seamstress- I live in the metrowest area but I'm willing to drive anywhere. I've heard great reviews about Chris O'Hare but I could always use more suggestions!

Also, does anyone have Chris O'Hare's contact information? Thanks alot!

Re: Looking for affordable seamstress

  • If you are willing to travel to Nashua, NH I HIGHLY recommend going to Lourdes Gagnon. She works out of her home in Nashua and came highly recommended by a couple of friends of mine. She did an amazing job on my dress, and she is so incredibly affordable! When my dress came in last summer, it was too small and could not be zipped up. After going into full panic mode and contemplating buying a new dress, I was given her name. She worked wonders on my dress (which I thought would be an impossible thing given that my dress has organza ruching from the top to below my hips). She cut out the zipper and added a corset lace up back and did this for only $150!! It looks like the dress was originally made this way, and I can honestly say that I like my dress so much more with this change! She's also sewing on a belt, adding bra cups and doing 5-6 bustles for me- total cost for everything (including fixing the back) will be under $300. Amazing!

If you are interested- her contact info is (603)598-2651 or stitchs@myfaripoint.net
