Small Bridal Shower Venue

Hi all. Another bridesmaid and I have to plan a bridal shower in a hurry - we found out this weekend that it has to be Sunday, May 30. Does anyone know of a place with a private room for a small bridal shower? There won't likely be more than 15 ladies. I'm having trouble finding places that have private rooms that they'll make available for groups that small and I really don't want to have to just reserve a table in the general dining room. Our budget is pretty tight, too.

I'm open to Baltimore and areas to the north or East (Catonsville, Ellicott City...)

Thanks!

If you didn't mind traveling to the Middle River area.  I just attended a baby shower at Carson's Creekside.  It's a resturant right on the water.  We had part of the deck reserved so we were outside on the water.  It was a very nice place for a shower.  I'm not sure what it was price-wise though.

Does anyone live in an apartment complex or condo with a clubhouse?  My shower had about 15-25 peple in the clubhouse of a condo community and it worked well.  They were able to DIY the food and prep it in the clubhouse kitchen.

Carsons Creek - I went to a small party there and it was really nice, good food!

Another place in Middle River is the River Watch - I attended a bridal shower there last year and the food was really good!!!!  It was on a Saturday afternoon so it wasn't too busy/crazy.  Sundays seem to be really crowded and loud there.  Don't know how it is price wise.

I just had my bridal shower at Bay Cafe on Saturday, my mother rented the upstairs loft.  It was really nice. We had about 30 people.  I don't think it would hold more than 30 people so it's a good space for smaller parties.  I don't know how much it was though.

Another place that I have attended was a baby shower at Squires in Dundalk.  It was in a small room upstairs and it was nice, good food.  I want to say they are not expensive.

We are having our rehearsal dinner at Chiapparelli's (Little Italy).  We only have twenty people coming and they are giving us a private room - no charge.  However, we are having ours on a Wednesday evening so they were very accommodating.  It may be different if it happened on a weekend.  You may want to call them.  You create your own menu and they print it out and personalize it.  The prices are reasonable and the food there is really good.

    Hope this helps!  Good Luck.

I'm having my reheasal dinner at Squires. They have a large selection of food choice, and depending on what you choose, they can be very reasonable. Not only do they rent out the upstairs, but they have a back room, that is smaller than upstairs that I think they put smaller parties in. Its worth giving them a call.
