Budget Wedding with Fireworks

I just recently got engaged and we are wanting to get married June or July of 2014. Our budget is between $5000-$8,500. We are paying for the wedding ourselves. We are expecting 150-200 people. Where is a great venue that we can view a fireworks show? We are not opposed to July 4, but I'm having trouble finding a place that doesn't charge way extra for the holiday. We are not set on the date, just as long as the wedding doesn't take place between November- February.

We do want a bar, barbecue, and dancing. Fireworks will be the main attraction. Please help!!!

Oh gosh I just saw a venue where a fireworks package was included in the packageI'll try and find it. Just realize that a July wedding means indoors until the fireworks start.

Have you considered a boat wedding, maybe on Lake Lewisvile? I know you can see several fireworks shows from that lake. I agree the heat has to be a consideration. & I don't know if a boat could accomodate that many guests.

I will look into the boat wedding, but I am not sure that many people can fit on a boat. Sounds like it could be fun though.

I am totally okay with an indoor venue until the fireworks start. I am not opposed to an airconditioned tent. I just don't even know where to start looking for one. Where you thinking of the 1899 Farmhouse? I really like the venue, but it may be at the top of our pricerange.

Yeah that was it. I have never seen a venue that had that option included. Fireworks are going to mean a more rustic venue out of DFW proper.

</div><div>I was thinking you could try for some venues that are close to Fair Park, so that you could watch their fireworks display from afar? Fair Park itself has several venues that can be used for weddings, but they're open to the public on the 4th, so I would imagine you'd either not be able to get one, or have to pay quite a lot.</div><div>
</div><div>Rangers Ballpark also does a fireworks display on the 4th and every Friday, so you could try to do something close to there? The ballpark actually does receptions, but again, only during the off-season, as far as I know.</div>

We want a rustic wedding. We are close to Dallas/ Fort Worth, but our families are all over the place. We do not mind going an hours distance. We actually want a barn/farmhouse/ rustic wedding. Any ideas?

I have been trying to find a venue in Arlington near the ballpark, but I have not been successful in finding somewhere- in my price range- that has a view of the fireworks. Help!

I think going with a venue that actually offers a fireworks package is your best bet if that is a big deal to you. What if it rains in Arlington on your wedding day and the game gets rained out?

Howell Family Farms is in Arlington - not sure if you would be able to see the Ballpark fireworks from there - but it would be something to check!

Sanford House is also really close to the Ballpark, so you might check there, too. It would be more outdoors as a venue though, so I would check Howell Family Farms, too.

Just FYI, the Gaylord Texan does a fireworks show every Friday in the summer (I believe).

If you had a venue close to there or on the lake, it may be possible. The Cowboys golf club is near there as well as a few other venues.

Rough Creek Lodge allows fireworks, but I beileve it may be out of your budget.

The Fort Worth Botanical Garden has fireworks every Fri/Sat/Sun nights for about 6 weeks every summer for their 'Concerts in the Garden" series. I know the fireworks are pretty visible (even can be seen some spots in downtown Fort Worth), I just don't know what wedding venues are close enough by to have a direct view.

Awesome! All these give me a place to start.

The Room on Main in Dallas has a great view of the fireworks in Fairpark on the 4th of July, but the cost of the venue is significantly higher for the holiday.

Do any of you remember if the State Fair of Texas has fireworks? Is it every night? That could be an option...
