Ugh.. I..

Well I dont know if I ever actually introdued myself on here (after posting for a month+, excuse me if i already have.. my mind is escaping me) My names Crystal! Getting married July5 to my college sweethearrrt <3 eric who I met on my colleges track team. Im 22,  we live in sacramento and have two cats (Adelaide + Panthra). And im working at European Wax center until  I decide what I want to do with my life for real. 



but the main reason for this post, I just cross referenced my two lists of invites (one on excel one hand written, I perfer to handwrite).. Lets just say my list was at like 115.. Now Its at 131! (that includes some kids we STILLLL cant decide what to do about it) Our venue charges a per person fee for anyone over 3. So my 2nd cousins (according to my list theres 6)  are going to be about 90$ each, all are under 14. I dont know if I can justify that, especially if I cant even properly spell their names! I was thinking of inviting just first cousins and out of town children. But then I feel kind of bad because two of my second cousins are similar ages of my youngest first cousins (like 12+14, not positive). I really dont know what to do.. any adivce or insight will help me tons!

    Hi Crystal, thanks for the intro :-)

    My understanding is that it's best to invite in circles, age doesn't have to be a factor(although some people also do age cutoffs too). So regardless of the fact that you have second cousins similar in age to first cousins, I don't think you necessarily have to invite your second cousins. The etiquette board would probably be able to explain it better than I can.

    For our wedding, as far as young children go we are inviting our 2 nieces, 1 nephew, and 2 first cousins once removed. We are very close to all of these children so we really want them there. None of our friend's or further extended family's babies/infants/young children are invited. But we did include teenagers, which is only 5 for us.

    Hmmm okay! I just feel bad 90 of the kids are from my side, and the other at ooters... If I went on terms of my personal closeness to them there would just be my little brother niece and two o. three cousinsyoung ones.. but my family talks.. Nd would probably talk crap as sad as that is.. would it be bad to only invite the ones who probably won't have a babysitter and ooters?

    Just found out I can order kid over 4 a kids meal for just 10!!!! Crisis averted! I can invite if we want 9 kids for 90 instead of 810!!!!!!! So much better!!

    Yea I think it took me soo long to decide because I couldn't justify it.. just gonna throw it out there a 5year old probably wouldn't have a good enough time for 90bucks the people on the ettiqute board would kill me for saying that but its true

    Wow, $10 for kids is awesome!! My venue charges half price which comes out to about $66 each for vendors and kids + tax. I said "no kids!" and will let people gossip any way they please. I would have had to invite over 45 kids and teenagers and that would have made the place look more like a  Chuck E. Cheese than a wedding. The only 2 I'm allowing are my niece and nephew who are my flower girl and ring bearer.

    45?! Man! At that price absolutely no question no kids!! I think I have about 15 if everyone brings theirs. And i agree about the chuck e cheese, I think ill try to have as few as possible still, but if they must , ill allow it
