I know they're a knock off site for dresses, shoes, etc.
But, there are some neat invite designs that, from a semi-brief glance through are cheaper than other places I've been looking at.
I was thinking of them just shipping me blank invites and paying to have them printed locally because I don't really care very much for any of the 'verses' on their website.
Anyone?

Honestly, I would not order from them. The quality you get is probably going to be pretty crummy. Even if you have them printed locally, if the paper is crap, you wasted your money.
there are dozens of reputable, reasonably priced invitation websites. I would keep looking for a design you like at one of them.
try:
Vistaprint.com
theamericanwedding.com
weddingpaperdivas.com
123print.com
Websites/blogs where our wedding has been featured:

I keep pawing and pawing and pawing through sites, but as of yet...I haven't stumbled across the invites I want.
Or at least not in my price range anyways. *sigh*
Thanks!

You could also look into www.papersource.com for high quality paper included patterned paper, and use that to print on, yourself, maybe just get bellybands, funky colored envelopes, and envelope inserts from a place like papersource, but keep the paper simple and on the cheaper side with the business card printers. This is probably what I'm doing. I have done professional graphic design. If you need some tips or pointers, please let me know. I can help.
Both of these ideas would render better quality invitations, IMHO, vs. lightinthebox.
Good luck!
