Hey ladies I checked two big things off my todo list yesterday I'm so excited I had to share! We put the deposit down and signed the contract on our reception venue and ordered our save the dates!! FI picked them out! I'm shocked at how involved he's been in the planning so far. Happy happy happy! Hope you all are having a great weekend, has anyone else checked anything off their list recently?

I stuffed 40 of my tears of joy packets (I'm planning on making 100). I'm still trying to find ribbon and the necessary printer cables so I can print the labels and programs.

Saturday FH & I are meeting with our ceremony coordinator, so hopefully she'll be able to give me direction on what to include in the programs. Hopefully tonight we'll be able to video chat & work through another page of our workbook - but it may not happen because he has to work until 8.

I'm planning on ordering the invites at the end of the month. I need to figure out how to finish off my bouquet and make it look nice. Still so much to get done... But I'm surprisingly not stressed out about it.

<div>It sounds silly, but it seriously took like, weeks to do it. We just never found the time, and the hours of the jewelry store didn't really work with our schedules. I knew the ring I liked and seeing it again confirmed it, so it was an easy shopping experience...but it just took a while to get to the actual store and buy it!</div><div>

Awesome! I'm a little surprised at my lack of stress... I'm wondering if this is the calm before the storm. Mine and FI's work schedules are completely opposite so we've literally spent all of our weekends planning :/ he works 7am-3pm and I work 3pm-11pm so we don't see each other at all during the week :'(

My mom finally got her dress ordered, clicky.

I bought two picture frames from the dollar store and am painting the glass of those with chalk board paint. They will be used in the photobooth.

Thats all I did.

ETA: We also bought FMIL's gift too.

We went to the American Science and Surplus store on Saturday and bought 60 small glass bottles and rubber stoppers that will be part of our favors. We went to several game stores to see if there were any miniatures we wanted for our wedding cake topper and decided that I will just sculpt something out of sculpy instead. I think we might still use game miniatures in our centerpieces. My project for this week is to find the best prices on sculpy and design the wedding topper. I also promised my fiance I would start seriously looking for a florist.

I put down the deposit on my invitations today, tomorrow we're going to C&B to start our registry there, and Thurs. night I'm looking at BM dresses with my sister (MOH) and my cousin (BM). I'm doing varied little black dresses so hopefully they can find something they like for themselves.

We started our registry at Bed bath and Beyond. We only got through a quarter of the store before we needed to stop. I didn't realize how time consuming this is going to be. We also plan to register at Macys but I would like to finish this one first.

I ordered my garter set, and we selected a DJ [yay!]. My little sister finally found a dress she loves, so she'll be wearing it to the wedding. And my aunt also found a dress! So the weekend was SUPER productive as far as I'm concerned. :] Yay for everyone else's progress also!
